The VN War was a war nobody wanted except for the hawks in the Pentagon and in the Whitehouse.

It seemed that the anguished cries of the dead on both sides to end the war reached the ears, hearts and minds of Americans. They protested and got their government to bring the troops home.

My Ex-husband and many of his friends used to talk about various things that happened in Nam. What I heard supported Kerry's testimony.

A soldier cannot slander his comrades and then say yrs later.. "oops, I really didn't mean that", without suffering well-deserved negative consequences.
