Bush opposed Homeland Security and the 9-11 Commission, was AWOl on terror completely prior to 9-11 and has not made sure first-responders are funded. How can you say he'd be better on Homeland Security than someone who has been fighting for greater domestic protection against terrorism since the mid 90's? Kerry made three difference speeches in 1999-2001 warning both presidents that our #1 threat is not Iraq or North Korea but more likely a small cell of terrorists inside our country.
