The statement only proves how politically oriented the FED is. No. It just proves that Fed hikes rates with inflation in mind, not monthly employment figures. would appreciate intellectual disagreements with my speculation Yeah, well, I guess you had to get used to living with disagreements. Nice to see you are now "appreciating" them as well. Since your post wasn't "intellectual", not even analytical, the disagreement you are getting is going to be just as simple - it's the inflation, stupid.
