I would find it a lot more interesting to compare Kerry's military career with Bush's...

We have covered this point several times here, JF. But OK, "once more into the breach!" :>)

Bush has never bragged about his spotty military record. The Dems and the Media have hounded him on it for years, to the point where he filed a "form 180" and released his complete records. It is what it is.

Kerry, OTOH, has made his military record the focal point of his campaign. It is a perfectly logical campaign issue. And it is being attacked. He is the one who brought it up. He has REFUSED to file a form 180. Now he is hoist on his own petard.

You can compare Kerry's military career to Clinton's too.
