Ed --NBR and PTEN have only a few rigs ready to go -- they have dozens of rigs which need varying amounts of refurbishing. They have just made good business decision to bring those rigs out slowly --very slowly. Soon people will realize this depletion we talk about is real world and even a cold August is a straw in the wind over the next 60 months --Frank

Someone pointed out that energy is the biggest sector bet for hedge funds - and the hedgies can move the market on rumour.

Lots of fast money in energy vs. 4 years ago when we were talking to ourselves.
