I hope they hang in there and get their story told. Frankly, the Viet Nam vets are a tough bunch, and if someone starts dishing crap in their direction, I think they'll dig in their heels. This thing has the capacity to blow up in Kerry's face big time. If the campaign and the DNC are perceived to be slamming the Vets merely to silence them, it won't go over well in the heartland (who cares what they think in NY, LA and Seattle?)
