Many of us paid a price without participating in the fighting. Life is not a rose garden............it was long ago and far away now.

But I can certainly speak out about a new war that will needlessly ruin the lives of many people. I was one of the strong ones who found my way through the maze...........many women weren't as lucky as I was.

The war was a disaster for many Vietnamese families as well. Many families were divided with their allegiance to opposing armies. Some were just desperate to survive so they did whatever they had to do each day and took the side of the army that was offering the best deal.

Every war is costly in terms of human tragedy. For every man that dies there are 10 or more that suffer.
