There is one big difference in the 527's....Soros has said openly he will spend his entire BILLIONS of dollars if need be to get rid of Bush.....and supports Kerry many ways. The Swiftboat Vets for Truth have only been finance for $100,000 for an ad or two, with the total amount for their ads to date of $157,000 or so. Funded by a Repulican for the $100,000. Problem is (for the Democrats) is the Swiftboat VfT have Dems, Repubs and Independents within their 250+ Vet group.
