McCain did not attack Kerry. He wants Kerry to win. They are very good friends. McCain would love to not have to campaign for Bush but when the party calls you have to answer. Notice McCain only compliments Bush on Iraq and just about nothing else. That's because McCain hates so many of Bush's policies, detests them. He was the one who stopped Bush's energy bill, gay marriage ban and a lot more. McCain knows that when Bush loses, he is the new leader of the GOP.
