The Bible was always only a guide and a tool ...not a literal "end=all"for eternity composition . Only the most feeble minded "believer" would think that ...or someone totally oppressed.

Or maybe someone God gave faith to. :-)

Matthew 11

25 At that season, answering, Jesus said, "I am acclaiming Thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for Thou hidest these things from the wise and intelligent and Thou dost reveal them to minors.

Luke 10

21 In this hour He exults in the holy spirit and said, "I am acclaiming Thee, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for Thou dost conceal these things from the wise and intelligent and Thou dost reveal them to minors. Yea, Father, seeing that thus it became a delight in front of Thee."

MAR$, The "Holy Land" is just a place in the hearts of many people. Can Jerusalem really be a Holy Land, when it is constantly embroiled in war, strife, and sometimes, famine? What is so "holy" about any city on the face of the earth. Some may say that Jerusalem is holy because Jesus was buried there. Well, according to the bible, He ain't there anymore. If He was resurrected, and raised up to Heaven, what's so special about Jerusalem? Besides that, there is nothing holy, or special, about the human body. The physical body of humans is nothing more than the vehicle that carries the essence of a person around, and genetically speaking, is just another ape like, primate, walking around on two legs.

The Holy Land is where God is. Isn't God supposed to be omnipresent? That would mean He is everywhere, any time, and it makes perfect sense that He would be in the peaceful, and tranquil, places like the forests, and the mountains. I guess since He can be everywhere, He sees what is going on in the troubled, and war torn, areas of the earth, but He doesn't seem to want to stop the chaos, or intervene in any way.
