There's a bunch_o_booboos in that sentence. "Let me just add that to see our nation go from a cooperative international leader to a rogue “go it alone” pirate has not sit well with many of us. " In foriegn circles the US has long stood out as nation that stands on principle while others tend toward compromise and corruption. As a superpower the US has been seen as THE only credible mediator in many world circumstances because of this. Calling the US a Pirate nation is a factually inaccurate at the least. Why would you even include yourself in such a malicious statement "OUR NATION"... "PIRATE"... self hate???
