I don't like the money in politics, but it's there. It's what they DO with the money. Karl Rove is known for the slimiest, dirty political tactics. That said, the Swiftvets group has slandered Kerry's war record, even though none of them were on Kerry's boat, and O'Neill didn't even serve at the same time as Kerry. They object to Kerry's opposition to the war on his return, and lie about his record during the war to attack him. It has Rove's fingerprints all over it. Nobody's buying it. It just shows Kerry served honorably while Dumbya was AWOL from avoiding Vietnam in the TANG. It's because Bush has NO RECORD TO RUN ON that Karl stoops to this slime. An incumbent should be 15 to 20 points ahead and trying to hold now.
