The point is not what Kerry did, but what the CinC SHOULD do at that moment. Do you think the NY firefighters and police sat for 7 minutes, stunned, when they heard of the attack? Of course not. A man of action would have quietly but QUICKLY exited the scene. Who knew if an attack on the President was part of the plot? If so, he would have been endangering those children. Bush's true character came out that day, first in the inaction, then in the wild flight. We need a battle-tested leader, one who's seen war up close and knows the consequences.
