Exactly. O'Neill had no connection. The funding is irrelevant to his motive for making the truth known which goes back as far as 1971, long before anyone ever heard of GWB. Its clear the O'Neill's motive is personal, not political. Of course they'd have to get funding from those who favored the view espoused in the book.....silly post.....

It'a all contrived. Richard Mellon Scaif is probably financing a great deal of it. When money is involved I don't trust anyone. To me it's a shame that anyone who served his country and laid his life on the line... is being so targeted. Very dirty politics. In David Brock's book Blinded by the Right one can read all about how these smear campaigns are conducted. The American Spectator for whom David Brock worked played an important role in smears against Clinton. Even the State Troopers were paid off. He tells his role and what was done...against numerous people:Anita Hill. Totally discredited...with lies... etc. There should be areas that are off limit. Bush supporters knew the Democrats had something in the flaking record of Bush and the National Guard so they planned this whole debacle against Kerry as a WAG THE TAIL ? Or as a good offense is the best defense.. Anyway, who cares... what these guys say. JUST WHY NOW AND NOT WHEN HE WAS RECEIVING THE MEDALS AND GETTING THE ACCOLADES. I would hope the American Public would see through this fiasco and think better about Kerry than less.
