I would not change my vote from Bush to Kerry, but if something like this came out before the last election and I was voting in a primary (which I didn't do) it might change my vote.

So, Nadine, lets say that this story or something equivalent had come out about Bush rather than Kerry, while all else remained the same, would you change your vote from Bush to Kerry on the basis of this issue?


If it were Bush, it would be a strike against him. As it happens, I consider Bush quite honest for a politician (though somewhat ideologically blinkered), and if someone proved a pattern of deception on his part, it would change my opinion of him. Whether it would turn my vote would depend on my evaluation of other factors as well. We've all voted for the lesser evil on election day.
