The Olympics will no doubt spur sales of digital cameras, flash cards, and camera phones. There is no reason to believe that flash revenues from most, if not all segments will continue to increase over the last quarter. Therefore, unlike National Semi and other companies in the semiconductor business issuing lower guidance, SanDisk should outperform the group by a large margin. I guess the better than average prospects for SanDisk will lead to increased short selling, if past performance predicts the future. Art
