Colorado has an initiative on the ballot this year to apportion Electoral votes according to the popular vote in the state. This is different than Nebraska and Maine that do it by district.

If the initiative passes, it will be effective for this election. Since Colorado has 9 electoral votes and the election will be close, their votes will split 5-4 if the initiative passes.
