Not much up for your "investigation" tonight, kh...but a couple of things: 1) You're right.....I would not vote for a socialist, nor a marxist, nor a fascist, nor a communist, and probably not someone who labels him/herself a 'progressive'. There are some "conservatives" I would never vote for either. All of those labels are lumped together in my mind, but I don't like labels, and I know you don't either. There are many definitions of all of those on the web....I just looked.

2) I'm not going to vote for Kerry, so in that regard, it doesn't matter.

3) BUT, IF he does become elected President, I wonder exactly what will happen to the US. Past performance, or lack thereof, for the last 25 or so years.... And all of that. If the only thing that Kerry thinks of consequence in his career is his 4 month service in Vietnam, and nary a thing of note for the last 30+ years that he could talk about in his convention, that should raise some flags for people who care.

There may be some people out there that honestly don't know who they are going to vote for. I believe citizens should be as accurately informed as possible on ALL sides of an issue. I may be able to ask some questions of them, so that they will themselves want to find their own answer before they vote.

It may be too much to expect.
