Of course, he sped away.....they were already speeding away when he learned of the guy in the water, and then turned back to get him.....that's called bravery and that's what got him his award. How about showing the documentation supporting your statement.....??


Dammit, JF, don't you read anything? I posted Chapter three of the book on this thread. A mine exploded under one of the boats. Kerry took off and Rassman fell out when it did. Kerry was the only one who ran. The other boats stayed there to help the "3 boat" that had run over the mine. There was no incoming fire. Kerry came back during the rescue operation and picked up Rassman.

That is all sworn to in the book. Read chapter three here before you make yourself look bad again. 209.157.64.200

JFS, If, as you say, all of the other boats were hauling ass out of there, how did they happen to see what went on with the Kerry boat? When the mine went off, the other boats stopped to assist the survivors. Kerry took only one, and ran. The others stayed to get the rest at their own peril.
