Of course the Chinese economy could implode, California slip off into the Pacific Ocean and New York and Boston could disappear under a tsunami if a volcano slips into the Atlantic in the Canary Islands. Then you don't want to be in any stock market except short. However if you think like this you will never invest and never get rich and not have as much excitementg in life.
