Wow! That's incredible. I'm going to research that story a little. It would have been really hard to believe such a thing could happen in America five years ago. But, after 9/11, and after the Jose Padilla dirty bomb case (there's another suspect being held under similar dubious charges), it's obvious the powers that be intend on stopping at nothing to get their way. The government still hasn't produced any evidence in the Jose Padilla case, he's being held without charges, without trial, in direct violation of his due process rights. This is exactly the nightmare the founding fathers were concerned about when they created the bill of rights to keep government power in check.

Another indication that the powers that be have no scruples about stepping on people's rights and on our political system, is that shortly after 9/11 prominent Green Party members in North Carolina weren't allowed to fly. They were being persecuted for their politics. They had done nothing wrong. The powers know that their oil based empire is threatened by enviromental solutions to our problems, and thus the Greens have come under harassment as well. Life stranger than fiction!

Thanks for the info on John Buchanan. I ran across this site and article while doing a search on his name:

johnbuchanan.org

Good news, bad news? For all practical purposes, the 9/11 truth movement is psychological warfare. The only way to win is to cause the enemy to feel threatened enough by the truth to counter attack. Going after someone like Buchanan, along with recent efforts to turn DC into an armed fortress, might suggest the Bush Crime Family is very much afraid those who know the truth are reaching a critical mass.

For some time, and for lack of a better indicator, I've been periodically checking the number of hits that turn up on a web search for "9/11 conspiracy". The current total is 3.2 million hits.

search.yahoo.com

Starting from around a year and a half ago, when the number was around 30K, the number of hits doubled approximately every 4 months up until about 6 months ago. Since that time around a million new sites have turned up, so the doubling effect appears to have tapered off. If the body develops a central nervous system, the critical mass has already formed.

Where the Bush Crime Family realized a need for a New Pearl Harbor, the 9/11 truth movement needs a New Boston Tea Party. IMO it's no longer a question of "if" that will take place, but only of when and where.

Keep your powder dry.
