Z, I think he means it, as if it were "politics," he'd look at the polls and see that most of the country no longer favors the war.

You see, that's the problem. The polls are sharply divided. For the war, you anger one half of the nation; against the way, you anger the other half.

So what does Kerry do? Try and have it both ways. It is nothing BUT politics. Knowing he has the liberal vote secured, he goes out there and acts like anything but a liberal, just to get those oh-so-crucial swing votes.

At least Bush doesn't pretend not to be a conservative.
