He said at the time, he would have done it differently. A lot of others did, too. Wait to build a coalition - like his father did. Let the UN inspectors finish their job - a job, it turns out, they were doing very well. Of course, no one could anticipate, save the neocons, how little planning their was for the post-invasion reality, how little thought was put into how to win the peace, how little experience the supposedly brilliant neocon 'thinkers' had in nation building. Well, at least Bush admitted as much during the 2000 campaign; too bad he didn't go back to that tape before the invasion....
