Painting the Economy Into a Corner The economy is screwed once again. HPQ warned this AM. New warnings occur daily. The brilliant ones say that a president can't move the economy. In one sense, that's true in that he can't pull a string to make things better but if he does his job right and the nation is moving in the right direction, that will provide the solid back drop for a successful economy. However, we currently are seeing the effects when a president screws up 24/7. Its disgusting........4 years of economic malaise and the markets are no better off than where they were in 2001. ted
