It's simple. It was a wounded Kerry who turned around the boat and pulled Rassmann out of the water.

Not the shifty swifty slimers. Ask Rassmann. He was there.

Later, Kerry saved a choking Republican colleague with a swift Heimlich maneuver while others stood by.

That's real character in my book, not flyboy posing.

Meanwhile, chicken hawks bush and cheney gleefully refuse to refute the swift boat slimers who are funded by those who smear McCain and Kerry's records. While they send young soldiers (not their kids) to fight for their oil buddies in Iraq.

Ugly stuff.
