I see Guilty with no evidence. Typical. Maybe you just screwed someone on the road?

My advice is to keep your distance.

I think you can get one of those spray cans that shoots for quite a distance.

Point, shoot, and then run like hell.

Boy oh boy. The sting can really hurt.

Several years ago, I was stung on my left hand, finger just to the right of the smallest one. I ignored it. Over the next few weeks, it continued to swell and to hurt. I continued to ignore it thinking it would eventually go away.

Three months later, the finger now looking like giant sausage, found me reluctantly going to the doctor. A few days later, I was in the hospital. The finger had to be opened surgically and thousands of little crescent shaped objects (gristles) had to be removed.

I now have a scar on that finger than runs from the tip into the center of my palm.

This is why I get a little excited when I am stung. I have to be careful. And I am now keeping a careful watch on yesterday's mishap. If the swelling does not abate soon, then off to the doctor I go. I don't want to go through a surgical removal experience again.

<< I have a Bush sticker on my auto. Strangely, several weeks ago my grille was smashed in, but because of the large bumper(Lincoln) there was no way the grille could been have struck by anything from the front, so I can only attribute it to an overzealous Kerry supporter, you know,a hit and run boot.>>

I have a 4 year old Jeep Grand that doesn't even have a door ding or rock chip. Also have a Bush sticker but I won't put it on because I don't want my Jeep "keyed".

<<Any advice on hornets appreciated.>>

If the nest is mud tubes, they won't bother you unless you screw with them. If it is heart shaped and about the size of a basketball, paper wasps, same advice but they get pissy much quicker. When it gets cooler and at night you can slip a garbage bag over it, spray raid inside and you have a trophy. BTW, if you go out with a can of spray that squirts 15', take two. Backup is good.
