Many of these vets still hate antiwar protesters. They can't stand the thought that a vet would protest against the war.

Kerry's first tour was not on the front lines, on a destroyer, I believe. Many served off the front lines, in support roles, and during peacetime. But, the difference is that Kerry thought he was not doing enough, so volunteered for extremely dangerous duty. He got it, and how, and earned three purple hearts, a bronze, and a silver star.

Why don't YOU tell us about Bush's first tour?

Bush had the same opportunity to volunteer to go to Vietnam. Instead of using that expensive training, he opted to guard Texas from Charlie.
