DNC's action to shut down the expression of opinion by these vets Not trying to shut down expression of opinion but lies about they claim are facts - like saying there was no damage to Kerry's boat.

You know my rule: never call anyone a liar unless you can prove it. I cannot resolve the issues raised, and have not even read the book yet, so I prefer to treat the matter delicately. I will say that the business about claiming to be in Cambodia in '68 looks pretty fishy. It may be that he conflated two incidents, but he spoke so positively of the experience being seared in his memory, it makes me wonder.......
