Yeah. And the Dems screamed and yelled about them- -and then did it themselves. If the REALLY objected to them and thought them such a bad idea, why was that?

They are a bad idea as currently implemented. Some sort of safety zone is obviously needed, but not city blocks. The opposite side of the street, maybe. Police commonly insist on this when demonstrators and counter-demonstratos are both present.
