Cheney's attacks on Kerry are a negative for the Bush campaign. Swing voters do not like these negative attacks. They take critical votes away from Bush.

Cheney has a 28% approval rating I think. How could he be winning any votes? Just preaching to the far right choir, the ones who see the world in black and white (and often get the two colors wrong).

CNN just announced Bush's 54% DISapproval rating in Florida. If that's true and holds, then Kerry is in. Bush has to win Florida. Absolutely. Kerry has a 7% lead per the latest poll.

I think every time Cheney crawls out of his undisclosed location, he just loses more votes for Bush. The man's normal expression is a scowl. People look at him and see Halliburton's head lobbyist..
