A Kerry goon squad is operating here... In Kennebunkport, where the elder Bush summers. I mentioned earlier the attempt to disrupt and harass a Bush family wedding in the town. Kerry has opened a campaign office here with the banner, "Kennebunkport for Kerry" (LOL at that one!) A store across the street put up a sign, "Thank You Mr. President." A squad quickly showed up to harass the owner and her customers (waving signs and hurling insults). This is truly SCARY stuff. It is ironic that posters have tried to link Bush with Hitler. If there was ever was a frightening echo of Nazism, it is the bold attempt to intimidate and stomp down free expression of political opinion. Are the examples I have witnessed here isolated incidents??? I doubt it, since these are the same people who attempt all the time to shout down conservative speakers on college campuses.
