Bush only tends to be "An ordinary average guy", I'd love to see him switch roles with an average American family like in that "trading places" reality show. He'd certainly get a sense of how the average guy lives. That might be something he can do next year with all his free time.

Everyone tends to have baggage. Jefferson owned slaves, and was so deeply in debt towards the end of his life that he could not afford to bequeath them manumission, as Washington did his slaves. Washington, though a great leader, had a second rate mind. Lincoln was prone to morbid melancholia. John Kennedy was a terrible womanizer, and placed himself in the position of sharing a girlfriend with a mob boss. How far do we want to go in scrutinizing people, and shouldn't we maintain a sense of balance? If all of Clinton's nonsense had been in the past, instead of being carried into the White House, I would have agreed that it was piling on........
