New Jersey Dems are gangsters. I wonder if McGreevey really broke his leg 'walking on the beach' last year.

N.J. Gov. James McGreevey hospitalized with broken leg

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - Gov. James E. McGreevey underwent surgery after breaking his leg while walking on the beach and was resting comfortably Saturday, his spokesman said.

"He's doing OK. He was just trying to take a day off," Paul Aronsohn said. He did not know when McGreevey would be released from the hospital but said he was expected to recover completely.

McGreevey, 44, and his wife were strolling along a Cape May beach before dinner on Friday when he stepped off a 4-foot ledge in the sand, the governor's office said. He broke his left femur in the fall.

Doctors at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital repaired the break during a 90-minute procedure.
