Is this the Metro buses they are searching?

As I understand it, they are not searching the Metro busses but the private commuter busses like the ones from Dale City. But what happens is that all the busses are queued up in a single lane entering the depot so the Metro busses have to sit and wait while the commuter busses in front of them are searched.

Since they moved the bus depot away from the Pentagon building, this is pretty inexplicable. If they are concerned about passengers carrying something onto the subway, then they should be searching all the subway passengers not just the ones entering the subway by bus at the Pentagon. If they think that the bus itself could be loaded with explosives, that doesn't make sense either because at that distance it would take more than just fertilizer for the impact to reach the Pentagon building. If the bus contains a nuke, it would be just as effective exploded from the highway or from the search area. I'm totally scratching my head.
