I have thought about that Cisco. I was sad to do it, but I also didn't want to take away political discussion from other political established boards. My thread ideas were for bookmark only. I did want publicity at first, to get them established, and I got it. I just decided to cut it off, because things were slowing down to a crawl in bookmarks.

Stragglers have come in. Maybe some regular investors only types, or those who only check in every now and then. Market conditions are not very appealing to investors that are long. I think the political threads are now favored, because the market is not. I think most of the regular SI political crowd has voted that wanted to vote. I will make some comments to keep the threads active. 125 total bookmarks so far. A success in my eyes. I think it will be interesting anyway to see if bookmarks go up, or down, for those who have already bookmarked. There is also some data I can make assessments about. After NOV. 1 the threads will be open to survive or go silent. I'm sure there will be some backlash to the looser. I can now make some general assumptions based on the data gathered up to now.
85 now for Bush -his highest total here I saw so far.
35 for kerry
5 for Nader

PS I also have another idea for a political/business thread that may or may not be appealing to many. It won't be Bookmark only <G>. When I get back from vacation about a week from now. I'll post it in the start a new subject.

New Poll shows Kerry surging ahead in Ohio.
Guess those SMearVets may have hurt Bush instead of helping him with their sleazy, dishonest Ohio ads.

Negative campaigns don't work this year, only truth-telling and real solutions do. That puts Bush at a severe disadvantage. he has already opted for the dishonest negative campaign. Every single negative ad of Bush's (more than any candidate in history's) has been an outright lie. Lesson is, this year liars and cheaters DON'T win. Unlike 2000.
