Frankly, I don't pay too much attention to the attacks on Kerry's honesty and integrity and his opportunistic tendencies. Like I said, no one is perfect. However, when I look at Bush, I notice that: 1. He stole the election with the help of his younger brother Jeb (Governor of Florida) and the Supreme Court; 2. He functions like a puppet from Day 1 of his presidency. From Day 1, his inner circle of advisers manipulated him big-time. In personal appearances, he looks quite unpresidential and indecisive which cannot but engender doubts, over time, regarding his credibility; 3. Bush has been dubbed a Zionist lackey; 4. He squandered away the outpourings of support and sympathy and goodwill America has had after 9/11 by his unilateral and either-you-are-with-us-or-against-us-there-is-no-middle-way stance; 5. He embarked on an illegal war (without approval from the UN) against Iraq and ran up such a humongous bill (burgeoning deficit and debt) that the US dollar has lost value in international markets and there is hardly any money left for health benefits & etc. & etc; 6. His war in Iraq which he embarked upon with a personal sense of mission or destiny is not only financially ruinous but had achieved relatively little, to date. It is also highly traumatizing (images of body bags and beloved ones disabled and deformed and maimed for life) not only to Americans but also to others elsewhere who believe in natural justice and fair play; 7. Bush has been roundly criticized in international circles. America under Bush is now perceived as a dangerous country. This negative image is bad, very bad! It makes America look like an ugly monster. Surely it behooves Americans to butt Bush out ASAP! 8. Bush has made more Moslem enemies than he has defeated. This circumstance will only enhances Al-Qaeda's credibility and all that this implies. So if Bush sticks around, we will continue to be attacked and suffer the ignominy of being subjected to yellow, orange and red alerts! No fun living in such a world, is there? 9. Bush likes to believe God is on his side. IMHO, he is deluding himself. Such a man can be very dangerous! I could go on multiplying instances to show Bush in a negative light and why it behooves Americans must not to vote for Bush again. (Once bitten, twice shy!) But I am sure it won't do a lot of ardent Bush worshippers any good. For you see, "A pro-Bush person convinced against his/her will is of the same opinion still." By contrast, Kerry, notwithstanding all the fuss made about his honesty and whatnot, has qualities that Bush sorely lacks. Readers will do well to visit his website and find out more about the man. What I have seen here and elsewhere are mindless and/or obsessive attacks on Kerry. At times, it seems that the attackers lacked credible ammo and were just grasping at straws and speculating. 'Tis time for a change: "The old order changeth, Yielding place to new; Lest one good custom Should corrupt the world."
