Oh duh. Like Key West is the only place that would hold a hurricane party. People like that is why there is a "Darwin Award". I lived in Galveston for a number of years. I had a friend who wanted to experience "the power of a hurricane" during one storm. I don't think he ever managed to clean those clothes. Hurricanes, especially those of force 3 or above, aren't a joke if you live less than 30 feet above sea level. I remember that there were a bunch of people who held a hurricane party at ground zero for Beulah. They all died. If seawater can reach you during a hurricane, you are going to die. Hurricanes pack the energy of nuclear weapons, they aren't something that are on a human scale.
