Building a wall on their side of the territory and building nuclear weapons are two different things - they require different responses. Watching a wall go up on "their territory" requires a "sensitive" response.

Your post told us readers that kerry would behave like JFK in handling foreign policy issues. The fact is kerry has repeatedly said he would use the UN to do the work. He has repeatedly criticized Bush for acting without UN support. You know that. JFK did not use the UN regarding Cuba. No one said the Berlin Wall and nuclear tipped missiles are the same. Of course those hundreds of thousands of East Germans who desperately wanted to leave the communist bloc would disagree with you vehemently. My point was to illustrate that JFK was not the stalwart on foreign policy that your post would suggest. Yet, there would be no match between JFK and kerry on foreign policy or anything else presidential. JFK stood up and took responsibility for the Bay of Pigs. Kerry "cops out" whenever he is cornered.
