Graystone,

I used the winipcfg command last night. When I hit the renew it did the check and that is when the error message came up that it couldn't find the DHCP server. Everything was o.k. in the device manager . No problem there. I downloaded the latest driver from Motorola already. I installed a card from Lacie that has both Firewire and USB 2.0 ports. The card was installed months ago and is working fine. In the AEBS, you can configure the unit either via DHCP or manually. Those are the only choices. Haven't come across anything in the SB5100 for setup in both DHCP and USB service.

Will go over everything this weekend. This will keep my mind off stock market. Have been trying to avoid getting wireless Ethernet adapter for the Dell since the unit is several feet from the AEBS. I have enough add-ons in the old Dell already. Am trying to keep the old girl going until I succumb to the allure of a new G5.

Thanks again.
