You clearly don't get it.

Smallpox is an incredibly virulent and contagious disease. It kills and when it doesn't kill, it disfigures.

If you want to learn about this issue rather than shoot from the hip with assumptions and supposition

I don't have to be an expert on smallpox to know I'd take my chances with it over ebola or a nuclear explosion. The latter two aren't survivable. I don't need to read Ms. Miller's book to know that.
