Anyone who watched Chris Matthews on eve of Iowa caucuses was aware that he was pushing Kerry. Chris was congressional aide to Democrat Tip O'Neill of Mass. He kept his liberal roots camouflaged for past 4yrs but last night they returned with a vengeance. Hopefully his mistreatment of John O'Neill will backfire on the Liberals. O'Neill had a very respectful demeanor, as usual, and seemed somewhat stunned at Matthews slam. Many other Hardball viewers will pay closer attention to the SwiftVet issue as a result of Matthews rudeness. Just hope O'Neill will not let it dampen his powerful protest against Kerry.
