snip... The use of this technique is inclined to move an audience to reject a person or idea on the basis of the negative symbol, rather than a review of the available evidence. Does name-calling add validity to the topic or position being discussed? If not, then it detracts from honorable discourse. Does name-calling tend to dismiss otherwise valid points from consideration? If so, then its only value is as a tool of propaganda. So these are your paeans of virtue? 1. A man who gets the highest job in gov't and uses his prestige and power to get young a young female intern to give him BJs in his office, an action that that would cost any admiral, general, or CEO his job, then commits perjury to cover it up? 2. A man who takes a small conflict in Vietnam and staged an incident to get Congress to authorize him to use essentially unlimited military force and ended up with 65,000 dead American soldiers because of his deception? 3. A man who stood by and did essentially nothing when a US embassy, legally sovereign American territory, was occupied? These do not begin to cover the stupidities and crimes of your compatriots. I would not even attempt to compare RDW to you. It is far too demeaning to an honorable woman such as her to be even mentioned in connection with trash such as you.
