From the Straits ...

Tiger Woods needed a late rally to keep alive his record streak of consecutive cuts made, but his perch atop the World Rankings is in serious danger thanks to the stellar play of Ernie Els. The Big Easy shot 70 Friday to improve to 8-under, leaving him one shot behind leaders Justin Leonard and Vijay Singh at the 86th PGA Championship.

The Straits ...

... is finally winning and showing its true colors as Herb and Pete intended it to.

Tournament golf as it should be played.

[rooting here in the playoff for Justin of Ryder cup fame]

I missed this in Army Times, June 21, 2004

Tiger Woods has donated $50,000 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation...

All amazingly long off the tee

UF,
Here is a golf story fer ya.
uw

Two women were playing golf. One teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole. The ball hit one of the men, and he immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in agony. The woman rushed down to the man and immediately began to apologize. "Please allow me to help. I'm a physical therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow me," she told him. "Oh, no, I'll be all right. I'll be fine in a few minutes," the man replied, still in pain, still in the fetal position, still clasping his hands together in his groin. But she persisted, and he finally allowed her to help. She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, she loosened his pants, and put her hands inside. She began to massage him. She then asked, "How does that feel?" He replied, "It feels great, but my thumb still hurts like hell!"
