I recall distinctly:

I have seen the result of Smallpox on people in India. There is nothing small about it. It is unsightly, can scar terribly, the entire body and completely and scarey disfiguring. Even if they survive the disease, it drives some people to suicide, but not others.

You are tap-dancing around this issue and misinforming people.

No, I'm not. You're arguing with a strawman of your own creation, not with me.

At first you said incorrectly that Smallpox was curable.

Nope. Didn't. Treatable and survivable, not curable.

You judge the nuke risk to be high...

Nope. Didn't say that either. I said it was the most fearsome. And that it was the most destructive. Not that the risk was high.

Anytime you care to to argue my points with me, I'm happy to engage... <g>

<<And it is not confined to ebola and smallpox. The tiniest dose of Type A Botulinal toxin is deadly. >>

We've had 3 dogs in my area come down with anthrax that was brought here in the 30s. Most diseases aren't all that bad, It's the bio engineered stuff that is a killer. Cross the cold with eubola. That could make the black plague look like the sniffles but no way to keep it from getting back home.
