I know plenty of honest Christian Republicans who are not brainwashed extremists followers of Ralph Reed and the Nazi-like religious right. These people are a major problem in this country. They have way too much power for their numbers, which I have heard is about 5% of the nation. Yet they own Tom Delay, a chunk of GW Bush and a larger chunk of John Ashcroft. Why do they deserve so much power? Answer: They don't. It's too much. And they need to quit trying to merge church and state. We don't want a Christian Taliban in this country.
