It will be interesting to see how and when the swiftvets issue comes to general knowledge, if it does. Then there's the question of whether it will matter. It may be more like Clinton's womanizing. Everybody knew that Clinton was a womanizer, but most people could tolerate that. If Kerry's a bit of phoney, if he embellished his record, well, he's a pol, what a shock. But if he comes off as a man of dubious judgment who believes his own fibs, that's more serious to most people, imho. TWT
