Re: What will Bush say about tax cuts skewed to hurt the middleclass and benefit the very rich? This is the biggest issue of the campaign now.

a/s, in addition to being a retired Marine, I am an Enrolled Agent with a Finance MBA, so I know a little about taxes. I see the effects of the tax code at the retail end...

Your statement is devoid of understanding of economics and the real world...it is a typical liberal notion that ignores the facts on the ground and is designed to promote class envy. If that is the biggest issue, it is because the libs have made it one in their neverending quest to rake in taxes to redirect to their liberal causes.

Facts on the ground do not bear out the charge. Tax cuts for businesses and individuals go to the bottom line which results in more spending. Businesses spend it for more employees, therefore more jobs. Individuals buy stuff, therefore more jobs.

The only part of the tax code that is affecting the middle income folks more and more is the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), which hasn't been changed in years.

Your response to my post was typical...when you can't refute the facts, you change the subject.

If you wish to debate tax policy with me, I welcome the challenge....jj
