I have said from the beginning that the SwiftBoat Vets story has legs. The story is just beginning to get the notice it deserves. Yes, you did. No amount of demo harassment is going to stop this now. The swiftees have added $500,000 in donations from 8,000 Americans and it is still coming in. I chuckled when I realized that none of the demos who are attacking the messengers ever spent a day on a swift boat and probably not in Nam, yet they argue over the qualifications of the man who had to finish Kerry's tour of duty because "hero" Kerry fled the battle zone. Every American can see right through that nonsense. I chuckled some more when the Kerry camp admitted the Cambodia story may not be as Kerry told it. I agree with you Andrew. This story has legs. It has legs because it is true. The only way to fight the truth is with a lie and lies are hard to sell these days.

Excellent post on Character, Andrew, as well as comparison between Kerry and GWB in regard to character.... All of us can see every day small glimpses into the character of these two men, and those people around them. Some are verbal glimpses as in Carville, Davis, and of course the candidate himself, skiing, skating, for photo ops, all narcissistic "look at me" things.... The President is going about his daily business of running the Country, with campaigning on the side. GWB isn't driven to HAVE to be President like the candidate. It shows. One has to just wonder WHY is it so very important to Kerry and his sponsors they MUST win, no matter who they trample. Including trying to muzzle the Swift Boat Vets for Truth, who have every bit as much a right to say their piece as he does. These men kept their earned medals, and did their duty, and have more than earned the respect of most Americans. Why are Kerry and crew disrespecting Americans Veterans??????? The Dems are afraid of the truth.
