You are so right, Lindy. The man who bought my property on Mobile Bay is a good example (as was I0. Several weeks after closing, Hurricane Mitch hit. It was the one that parked in Mobile Bay for a few days.

It once again destroyed the boathouse, the boat, the bulkhead, and for the second time washed away about a third of the front yard.

I drove out to the house about four months later and the guy had completely restored it to the original that I sold him. I had done the same thing after Andrew.

We seem never to learn even when we are spanked multiple times.

Before I sold the property to him, I told him about the four hurricanes. He smiled and said that that was just a penalty that one had to bear who wanted to live on water's edge.

PS: He is still in the house on Mobile Bay waiting for the next hurricane.
