LOL kh...Thought you were the one that likes Gridlock!! My tongue was firmly in my cheek when I said that, but then again, knowing how you like Gridlock, thought you'd laugh....

But seriously, people can't have it both ways. At least until after the election and the AQ threats....

As a practical matter, it would probably take the parties longer to go through yhour registration process than it would to have their cars searched. And registration would create a data base where the government would know what checkpoints we were at at any given time. And anyone whose car was used in a terrorist attack would probably be giving a phony name or skip town so they wouldn't be available to have damages collected from them so there would be no penalty or compensation.
